Dr. Horst Joepen, CEO

Dr. Horst Joepen Horst Joepen is a successful software entrepreneur who is providing experience from different IT and software companies to Searchmetrics. Bevore joining Serchmetics' executive team he founded and built Webwasher AG with a worldwide IT security business. In 2007 Joepen turned around Saarbruecken based Xtramind, a CRM software company, and successfully sold it to Living-e AG. Before this Dr. Joepen was in different IT management positions at Siemens and started his career with Nixdorf Computer. He also is a board member of Swiss based E2E Ltd., a company with a highly innovative SOA/ERP product.

At Searchmetrics Joepen is responsible for finance, marketing, sales and strategy.

Marcus Tober, CTO

Marcus ToberMarcus Tober studied media design and computer science in Berlin.  While he was a student he already focussed on search engine optimization and became one of the leading German SEO experts. His thesis is the origin of the well known platform for free SEO tools - linkvendor.com. After working as inhouse SEO for Idealo the high demand for an integrated and professional SEO software solution lead to the foundation of Searchmetrics GmbH jointly with Holtzbrinck eLab.

Beside his SEO activities Tober has successfully build various Web projects like grusskartenfreunde.de

At Searchmetrics Tober is responsible for product development and SEO consulting.
