At Searchmetrics Inc, Paul Bongers is responsible for driving revenue and growth by managing and scaling high-performance enterprise sales and sales development teams. Paul is also focused on creating strategic alliances through OEM integrations.
Before Searchmetrics, Paul managed the expansion into wider markets at the Berlin-based European furniture e-commerce giant: Home24. He developed a strong background in SEO, content, project management and marketing automation.
Paul’s internal career path at Searchmetrics is most notable. He started at Searchmetrics in 2012 as the third employee on the ground in the London office. Through his roles as Pre-Sales Manager, Senior Manager of Business Development and Director of Business Development, Paul was instrumental in creating a strong footprint for Searchmetrics in the UK, France and the Nordics, and created lasting global partnerships with the largest media agencies in the world. During this time Paul created the Searchmetrics Academy, which today is an internationally recognized education platform for search engine optimization professionals.
In 2016 Paul transitioned to the United States to head up the New York offices as Sales Director. He joined the Global Leadership Team, and after two successful and transformative years he moved to the Silicon Valley offices as the Vice President Sales & Strategic Partnerships.
Paul holds an MA in European Studies, History and Political Sciences from Lunds University in Sweden and the Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.
