Top Domains by Market Share
Looking at the market share of the top electronics domains, we used the keywords for which the website ranks on the first page of the Google search results. The higher the electronics retailers rank, the greater their market share is:
- Different niches have different leaders e.g. the top website for searches related to laptop computers is laptopsdirect.co.uk
- YouTube is the domain with the second-highest market share, underlining the importance of video content for informational searches.
- Most electronics retailers fail to provide relevant content for informational searches, although these make up 51% of electronics queries.
