Universal Search Study Infographic

This year’s infographic on Universal Search – also known as blended search – deals with trends in the integration of Videos, Shopping (Product Listing Ads), Images, News and Maps within the search result pages of Google.com from January to December 2014.

Throughout 2014, Google constantly enhanced three quarters of SERPs with at least one Universal Search integration. The most relevant changes over the year were noticed in the share of Shopping and YouTube integrations, which are separately covered in the infographic.
