Roy Satterthwaite will provide sales leadership for fast-expanding search and content optimization leader
San Mateo – 02, March, 2015__Searchmetrics the leader in Search and Content Optimization, today announced the appointment of Roy Satterthwaite as Senior Vice President of US Sales. Technology industry veteran Satterthwaite has held senior management positions at SAP, where he was group vice president of the North American analytics and data platform team, and Opera Software, where he was senior vice president for the Americas. He joins from Turn Inc, a leading digital marketing hub provider where he led sales, working with leading brands to improve their programmatic advertising results.
In his new role Satterthwaite will focus on developing business, including accelerating sales in the high growth US market, with leading brands and agencies. Searchmetrics, whose software is used by brands and agencies such as eBay, Symantec, iCrossing and Havas Media, enables organizations to better understand, manage and measure their search and content optimization strategies through its industry leading platform, commitment to customers and continued product innovation.

A pioneer in web marketing and eCommerce, Satterthwaite was also an analyst in the consumer eCommerce industry practice at Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory firm. He has an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business (New York City).
